New Construction (Phase) Inspections

Get Your Inspection at Every Phase of Construction

Buying or building new construction is miles apart from walking into a resale home. At Alpine Inspections, Inc. based in Azle, TX, we perform inspections on newly constructed homes throughout the Dallas Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas. We’ve seen how troubling it is for new homeowners moving into new construction that did not go through a thorough inspection.

Most newly built homes come with a one-year builder’s warranty for those homeowners who are living in a newly constructed home. While many items are now concealed or covered, it’s not too late for defects to be found by the trained eye of our inspectors. Experience tells us that many major construction issues go unnoticed for 3-5 years and by this time, correcting these issues may cost thousands of dollars and the builder is no longer responsible… It is unfortunate that many of these issues go unnoticed until it’s too late and extensive damage has occurred. When it’s time, Alpine Inspections, Inc. based in Azle, TX, will come out to your property during the 10th or 11th month of your one-Year Builder’s Warranty and perform a full assessment of your new home before the builder’s warranty expires.

Most people assume that municipal inspectors spend a great deal of time inspecting newly constructed buildings. The truth is, a 15 to 20-minute walk-through is never enough. Apart from that, problems could also exist that do not necessarily violate codes but can have serious consequences to the new homeowner. Our professional home inspectors can inspect new builds in phases; Pre-Pour (foundation), Pre-Drywall (framing/Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) before insulation and drywall; and the Final Inspection is done prior to closing.

Benefits of a New Build Inspection with Alpine Inspections, Inc.

Phase 1

Examination of the first phase of new construction is the foundation. We do this inspection when the home’s foundation make-up has been complete and before the builder is ready to pour concrete.

Phase 2

Examination of the framing, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems. Major systems within the walls are included to ensure no potential problems could arise after drywall installation.

Phase 3

Final home inspection once construction is completed.
