About Alpine Inspections

Alpine Inspections, Inc. based in Azle, Texas was established in September of 2007 as a one-man operation. The owner Tod Brooks has a business and marketing background as well as experience building custom homes. Our goal is to provide the best home-buying experience possible to our clients. We do this by conducting a top-notch professional home inspection; and explaining the process of the findings and discussing the various ends and outs of the home. We also provide all needed and necessary services in-house.

We pride ourselves on customer service and satisfaction. Our philosophy for the home buying experience is simple; To Be Your Trusted Source For Home Inspection Services! We are here for you before, during and after the home inspection.

Choosing the right home inspector makes all the difference in the world. Individual inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. When you select Alpine Inspections to inspect your home, we are committed to providing top-notch home inspection services, superior customer service, 24-hour or sooner report turnaround, and giving our clients our full undivided attention. This is our promise to you.

Meet the Alpine Inspections Team

  • Tod Brooks - Owner / Primary Inspector

After graduating from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas with a Business Management Degree in 1989, he worked for a full-service architectural, engineering, and construction management firm for 13 years in marketing and management.

From there, he went directly into the construction field building new custom homes in 2003. He started out working for an independent builder before obtaining his own builder’s license in 2005 from the Texas Residential Construction Commission (TRCC) and building custom homes on his own.

As the market and economy took a turn in the mid-2000s, Tod decided to make a change from home building to home inspections. Tod received his Professional Real Estate Inspector license in September 2007 and started Alpine Inspections. He hit the ground running and has been performing home inspections full-time since then. Tod has obtained additional credentials as well. He also has his SPCS Business License with the Texas Department of Agriculture (Structural Pest Control Services) and is a certified applicator. This gives Alpine Inspections the ability to inspect for termites and produce WDI (wood-destroying insects) reports. Tod also maintains a national certification with NAWT (National Association of Wastewater Technicians) in order to inspect septic systems. He also inspects private water wells and pools/spas.
